Into the Mythic - Residential Course

Come Into the Mythic with us!

The team behind the Into the Mythic podcast invites you to join us for a weekend of storytelling, reflection and connection. We are offering an immersive, residential weekend on a small island off the coast of mythical, magical west Cork.

We’ll be diving into Irish mythology and folklore - telling stories, listening to music and poetry, connecting with the landscape and working together to tap into the deep nourishment of our indigenous traditions. The power of Storytelling has long been understood, the magic of gathering by the fire to listen to stories together. We invite you to join the circle and share in a collective experience that’s as old as time itself. Irish myths have endured for thousands of years, and they are our links back to an ancient way of being. To a way of life that we’ve almost forgotten - but not quite. A way of life that has real and relevant wisdom for us now.

Over the course of this weekend we’ll be tapping into this ancient wisdom, and connecting back to a time when the people of this land understood how to take their place in the intricate web of life. During the past year we’ve had feedback from all over the world from listeners who have responded in heart and mind to the stories we have shared on Into The Mythic. We’ve seen that there’s a real hunger for the kind of nourishment on offer from these ancient stories and traditions.

For ourselves we’ve discovered that spending time with myths can be transformative. Myth has a power beyond a simple story – there is a magic embedded in myth that can awaken a corresponding creative magic in us. As writers, artists and musicians ourselves we know the joy and potency of the creative connection – how engaging with story and music and visual art makes life richer and deeper. We would love to share some of this with you. So, turn off your phones, leave the news behind for a couple of days, and come into the mythic with us ….
